About VerseReels

VerseReels is a free way to read the Bible one verse at a time, with no account and no sign-up.

Translations

We publish the King James Version (1769 standard text) and the World English Bible. Both are in the public domain and come from eBible.org. KJV spelling is unchanged; only editorial marks are removed for reading. “World English Bible” is a trademark of eBible.org.

Verse numbering

Both translations follow KJV verse numbers. The World English Bible leaves a few verses blank where manuscripts differ, and the King James text is shown for those verses.

Plain-English meanings

Verse meanings and topic introductions are original study helps. They are not part of Scripture.
