What is Psalm 150 about?

Psalm 150 is the final psalm and the grand finale of the whole book. Every one of its six verses calls for praise. It answers three questions: where to praise God (in his sanctuary and in the heavens), why (for his mighty acts and excellent greatness), and how (with trumpet, harp, timbrel, dance, strings, organs and loud cymbals). It ends with the call that closes the Psalms: "Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD." After 149 psalms of lament, trust, wisdom and thanks, the book ends in pure praise.
